Please take the subway (line U35, direction „Hustadt/Ruhr-Universität“) until the stop „Ruhr- Universität“.
At the station Ruhr-Universität please turn right and walk over the bridge to Audi-Max at the university campus. Behind Audi-Max you will find the refectory building. The congress hall „Veranstaltungszentrum“ is located down under the refectory (floor 04). Please find the signposted way to the congress hall.

From Wuppertal:

Please take the motorway A43 until the intersection Bochum-Witten and take the exit Bochum- Querenburg. Turn left to Universitätstraße in the direction Zentrum/Universität. Please take the exit „Uni-Mitte“ and continue as described in 2c).

From Frankfurt/Hagen and Kamener Kreuz/Kreuz Dortmund-Unna:

From the intersection Westhofener Kreuz on please take the motorway A45 in the direction Dortmund-Nordwest until the intersection Dortmund-Witten (about 7km). Then turn to the A44 in the direction Bochum until the intersection Bochum-Witten (about 10 km). Afterwards turn to A43 in the direction Wuppertal until the exit Bochum-Querenburg (about 300 m). Please take the exit „Uni Mitte“ and contiunue as described in 2c).

From the north:
From Münster, Recklinghausen:

Please take the motorway A43 which leads from Münster to Wuppertal. Exit the A43 at the junction „Bochum Querenburg/Ruhr-Universität“. Please take the exit „Uni Mitte“ and contiunue as described in 2c).

2c) After taking the exit „Uni Mitte“ please follow the signpostings „Veranstaltungszentrum“ respecitvely „KogWis2025“. With the keyword „KogWis2025“ the gate for underground parking will be opened. Please drive to parking level P9. Then take the elevator to the congress hall (level 04).

Travel recommendations (flights)

Four airports – Dortmund, Münster/Osnabrück, Cologne/Bonn and Düsseldorf – are within a reasonable distance of the Ruhr University Bochum.
Düsseldorf International Airport, however, is not only the largest, but also the most easily accessed: there are direct connections between the airport and Bochum’s main train station up to eight times per hour, and the journey only takes a good half an hour.
We recommend avoiding Düsseldorf-Weeze Airport (75km from Düsseldorf International Airport), as they do not offer good transportation service
